Question by Blondie: Is it safe to continue to take Weight loss pills if 5 weeks pregnant?
Well Not actually Weigh loss pills, I’ve been taking Nature Matuers “Green tea Slim” to improve my metabolism/ to control my weight loss. I would like to know is it safe to continue to take them?

It is never recommended to take any kind of herbal supplement during pregnancy. The reason being is that none of these products are FDA tested and this means there is no way of knowing whether or not it will be harmful to your baby. Also if it is a product used for weight control and weight loss then you should stop taking it. You need to gain between 20 and 40lbs during your pregnancy. I know that sounds like a lot but it is worth it to have a healthy child. Also if your not already you need to be taking a prenatal vitamin daily.

Question by Jen: What kind of weight loss surgery is best?
It’s been a little over five years since I looked into getting surgery. I decided back then I would try diet and exercise and since then I’ve become healthy with little weight loss. I’ve finally decided to peruse this but don’t know what’s best for me. I live in San Antonio and know there are a lot of great places to get surgery done, but I would love some feedback from those who have had it.
