Question by Lexers: How to fit in/be popular at a new school?
Okay, I will be moving to Las Vegas and transferring into the 8th grade this January and I am a little afraid. Every time it seems there is a new kid in my school, they are sucked into the lowest group, and i REALLY don’t want that to happen to me. I am already fairly popular, but not at the top. I do both cheerleading and gymnastics at my school (i’m not a B***** cheerleader, trust me). How do I know who is popular and who isn’t? Also, how do i talk to people without being awkward? How do I get people to talk TO me? How do i get people (including boys) to be interested in me? I want this move to have a positive effect on me, and I want to be popular. Please don’t tell me to be myself because i’ve already heard that. If you wanna see a picture of me, I think you can look at my profile picture but I am the brunette in the middle if you can see. Any beauty tips to improve? thanks a bunch!
