Question by Gato Marvado: What causes loose skin after weight loss?
If the weight loss is done naturally, with diet and exercise, will there be loose skin as well?
Is it possible to know beforehand if I will end up with loose skin after losing weight?

sometimes it doesn’t. depending on how much you weigh and how much you loose. for example, id you’re only losing say 10 pounds you wont have loose skin. but say you’re losing 40 or 50 pounds, then you’ll have loose skin. it’s caused by your skin stretching when you gain weight, then when you loose it it’s just saggy skin that used to be strechted out. avoid this by doing strength training.

At 80+ years-old, Jackie Jones has become an institution. She’s a weekly fixture each Saturday morning at the San Francisco’s Alemany Farmer’s Market, and a BIG favorite of the kids. Apart from playing the hand saw, she also strums a washboard guitar (visible at rear left) and various other home-made instruments.

Question by Tony1234: Is there any correlation between the onset of acne and growth spurts?
I am 5,6 and 17 with shorter parents. I have not grown in a while but suddenly have been get “worse than normal” acne. Does this mean that I have some more growing to do? or Is the no relation?

Don’t worry about stuff you have no control over. You still have at least 4 more years of puberty left – with the possibility of additional growth during that time. Anything is possible – but no guarantee’s. Just about everybody gets acne to some degree or another. Growth has nothing to do with it. You can help matters by dumping the junk food, fast food garbage & sugary sweet soda’s. Drink lots of water, fruit juices & fat free milk to help keep the traffic flowing. Life is not always the way it’s supposed to be. It’s just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
