Question by AngieOK: How can I get past a plateau in my weight loss?
I have been working out and eating consciously since mid February. I have lost about 15 pounds. The first 8-10lbs. just flew off but the last 5 have been slowly creeping off with lots of effort. How can I stimulate the weight loss process into a higher gear?

I’m having the same problem. either eat more or eat less. exercise differently. do different exercises or change intensity. your body has grown used to what you’ve been doing and needs to be shaken up a bit. in the beginning, the weight comes off faster, then slows down a lot. as long as you lose 2-3 pounds a week, you’re doing OK. accept that some weeks you might not lose at all.

My cousin’s is 15 and she wanted to know how would she start doing beauty pageants as a teen in Pennsylvania?

If she has a talent ( like dance, monologue, instruments, etc.) she should consider the scholarship program/pageants. Like America’s Most Outstanding Teen and Distinguished Young Women of America. They have so many opportunities for scholarship money and it’s a great experience overall.

Question by JasonB: what type of stuff do you recommend doing for teens traveling to Pittsburgh?
Me and buddy are planning on going to pittsburgh in a few weeks. We are really looking for places to meet fun interesting people and hear music or see art etc. Not looking to ride the thing up the hill visit museums.
What do teens/young adults do in pittsburgh? any malls, restaurants, venues to suggest?

OTHER IDEAS BESIDES being yourself?? I go to a Catholic school so I want beauty tips for my face, and what I can say to a guy that is really flirty and they get the “message”.
