Question by Escape from Reality Music<3: How much freedom do you let your 16 yr old have?
Im 16 and just want to see what other parents let their teens do /not do or teens what are you allowed to do /not do ? Assuming the teen is responsible, gets good grades and helps around the house. I just want to see if the rules I have are considered strict, laid back or normal.
my rules :
I have to clean my room and bathroom and help at in the rest of the house
I dont have a curfew as it depends on where im going/with who/doing what
i can have a cellphone as long as i get good grades
i have a tv and computer in my room
i can go out with my friends as long as ive behaved
i can have people over if ive asked at least the day before
i dont have to get a job but if i expect a lot of extra spending $ then i have to
i can have a facebook,myspace, aim
i can drive as long as my parents in the car (i have my permit)
i cant really think of anymore but if i do ill add them

Well does this answer your question. I am 13 and me, my boyfriend, my friend and her boyfriend had a 4sm and now me and my friend are both pregnant. and my mom and dad dont mind at all
