Question by Shma: Best type of face moisturizer for teen with acne?
I just starting a new brand of face cleansing product, after switching from proactive. The new stuff is Nutregena oil-free acne treatment. It really is oil free! My skin is starting to get so dry after using it only a few days, it is irritated, red and breaking out! What skin moisturizer won’t make me break out, and will fix the dryness!?

You should mix in some Tea Tree Oil with your acne medication. That’s what I do. The tea tree oil is antibacterial and also helps in curing and preventing acne. Sometimes when I’m feeling lazy I just put little dabs of the oil straight on my blemishes and they shrink by the morning. And this isn’t the kind of oil that will clog your pores and all that It’s really easy and you can find it at most drugstores. I got the Jason brand one from Rite-Aid.

first by some moisterizer for the dryness then you can go to walmart or target go to the beauty section and look for a peach tube i forgot the name but its the only peach tube then you can put it on and your acne will be gone in a week or so

If your skin is prone to break outs, I suggest a super fatted soap. Basis is a good brand, if it’s still around. Even with sensitive skin.

If you have dry skin with breakouts, you need WATER. Yep, that’s what I said. Your face and all skin needs 2 types of moisture. Water and Oil. You obviously have enough oil (breakouts) but, not enough water (dry skin).

Drink more water, FORCE yourself to drink 1 glass of water every morning. Moisurizer is water based and light. Make up is powder. No cream at all.

I used a face wash that REALLY REALLY dryed out my skin, and I had a bunch of little bumps on my forehead for like weeks. I stopped using the face wash after that because I thought I had a rash and was allergic to that product. After those weeks, those little bumps started coming out (those little bumps were pimples under the skin). I was breaking out like crazy for over a month. The pimples are finally almost gone. I wish I never bought that product.
