i wish i was down the shore :
but im having a bbq w. the fam and my pools officially open
i hate family things

I live right by a bay that goes into the ocean so my family and I are renting a boat and snorkeling. There is a sand bar in the middle of the bay so were gonna stop there also.

My plans are whatever I guess.

We have four days off so friday I just chilled with some friends yesterday chilled with my best friend sleptover her house today Im going to the mall with my mom huge sales hopefully I get some nice clothes tomorrow Im going to a party in the morning Im probably going outside its supposed to be nice out and then Tuesday going to the mall again this time with my friends and yeah:

Still wish I were down the shore though.

For Memorial Day everyone has a day off but me haha. Since Im in the band both concert and marching our city has a parade every year. With me being in marching band Im going to be in the parade marching.

I hate doing it but at the same time I love it. I love it because it is fun and I love marching band but every year its always at or above 90 degrees and it doesnt help wearing a full wool uniform gloves included.

This is the one parade when were always pretty serious seeing as this holiday is a solemn one. Were going to be marching all the way to the city square and at the square they list the veterans and stuff then as Im also in the choir Im going to be singing along with five other students America the Beautiful.

After that we march down to the cemetary and they talk some more along with this gun salute thing.

Afterwards Im going to be peeling off the uniform Ill be sweating in and probably going to have a little cookout with my mom and friends. If the pool is open Id LOVE to go swimming.

I know I seem silly but half of me does take Memorial Day seriously. When they list all the veterans that served in the military they always get down to my dads name who was in the parade last year. This year he cant be in the parade because hes in Iraq again for another 400 some days.
