Whats a good, cheap weight loss smoothie recipe for vegans?
Of course I’m vegan for the animals, I’m just chubby. However, that was still a rude thing to say >:(

Well first a smoothie usually uses milk (substituted for vegans soy milk) and that alone will be fatty. What about a some pineapple juice, crushed ice and some mint? You could add a dash of coconut milk to it, but that will be a bit fatty.

    Quick and Easy Vegan Mango Smoothie Recipe
    here’s all you’ll need…

    * 1 medium-sized mango
    * Dash of agave nectar or maple syrup (optional)
    * 1 banana
    * ¾-1 cup soy/rice/almond milk

    Blend mango, banana, nectar and dairy-free milk in a blender or processor until a smooth consistency is achieved. Ice cubes can be added or you can even use a frozen banana or two to make a thick shake mango smoothie.

    i hope your vegan for the animals not just the weight loss

    good luck

    I love the protein workout smoothie at jamba juice. it’s vegan with soy proten, but expensive…Anyhow, I know what you mean, I’m kind of chunky also, but that has nothing to do with being vegan…:D

    What I do is freeze some fruit, any combination of the following: bananas, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, mango. You can peel bananas and tear them in chunks and put in baggies so they don’t turn brown. Then put some fruit juice OR soy milk enough in the blender to almost cover the frozen fruit. Blend it up and you have a guilt-free healthy smoothie. And here’s a tip: put a little fresh spinach in it and you can’t even taste the spinach at all.

    That depends when you’re going to take it and what your goals are (fitness goals, not just “I want to lose weight”). There’s no such thing as a “weight loss smoothie.” A smoothie isn’t going to make you lose weight, your overall diet and exercise regimen is going to do that for you. This is why I need to know when/why you’ll be drinking the smoothie and what your fitness goals are. Email that to me and I’ll help you out.
