Moisturize moisturize moisturize! number one rule, the other is making sure you have brushes and not those little applicators. Much smoother with a brush.

    Apply mascara BEFORE curling eyelashes!

Apply the mascara, let it dry for a minute or so and then curl those suckers. The result is much better and it’s easier to apply mascara without curling them first.

The best makeup tip starts in the kitchen….with what you put in your mouth. Followed by how many hours of sleep you get, how much regular exercise, and how much water you drink.

If you eat right and live healthfully, your skin reflects that good health – and makeup enhances natural beauty instead of covering disaster.

(That’s the makeup tip no one wants, because it means a commitment to a lifestyle change, instead of a quick-fixer upper.)

But for the quick beauty tip, then I would have to say use Aveda products – their facial cleansers, moisturizers and makeup are wonderful! Especially their powder foundation – the coverage is beautiful, completely natural looking, and application is so quick and easy with a large, loose brush. (Don’t use the nasty little sponge applicators – it makes liquid foundations too thin and creme or powder foundations too cakey….)

    Hope this helps –

Instead of using concealer with my bare minerals I just wet a makeup sponge and dip it into my mineral powder and apply like i concealer then apply my bare mineral foundation and mineral veil. completely flawless.

Hehehehe. Oh my darling, you’ve just opened the flood gates. I’ll share ALL my beauty tips with you. Here’s my regime (and why I follow it):

    Morning:
    Cleanse: Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser
    Tone: Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner
    Treat: Caudalie Radiance Serum
    Moisturize: Dermalogica Barrier Repair
    Eyes: Murad Silk Eye Gel
I always follow this regime, people say it doesn’t make a difference, but when I have them stand in a mirror and look at my skin, compared to theirs, their amazed at how much brighter, healthier and even my skin is. You don’t have to spend a fortune, but following these steps will make a major difference in your face.

    Body Soap: Ahava Moisturizing Soap
Moisturizer: Neutrogena Body Oil followed by Yes to Carrots Body mist
    Feet: Miss Pedicure Peppermint Lotion
    Hands: Ahava DermaMud Hand Lotion
It’s a head to toe process to keep your skin and body healthy, and I HATE lotion except for my hands and feet. It really makes a difference in how you feel if your skin is glowing and moisturized.

    Shampoo: Pureology Hydrate Shampoo
    Conditioner: Ojon Thickening Conditioner
    Treat: Ojon Revitalyzing Mist
    Volume: Jonothan Product Thickening Foam
    Shine: Ojon Shine Treatment
    Dry Shampoo: Ojon Rub-Out Cleanser
I’m a huge fan of Ojon. I’m spending less money than when I was using Herbal Esscenses because of the amount I’m and my hair is so healthy. My color stays, my hair is shiny, strong and full of volume. I love it!

Prime: Smashbox Color Correcting Primer in Green
    Color: Laura Mercier Oil-Free Foundation
    Set: Smashbox Halo
Prime, color and set are the perfect three steps that will keep you makeup on all day and help to ensure that you are not only protecting your skin, but keeping it healthy as well.

Believe it or not, it usually takes me about 1/2 and hour to 45 minutes to do all this including styling my hair and putting on my makeup, once you get the hand of it, it’s a piece of cake.

Eye Prime: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Shadow: Stila, Urban Decay, or Shiseido
    Lash Curler: Shiseido
    Mascara: DiorShow Blackout
    Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide
I love using tons of colors, so I get box sets of shadows that come with smaller versions of lots of colors instead of getting individuals. That way I can play and save a few pennies as well. I think that my my two favorite items are my Primer Potion and eyelash curler. They’re amazing!

    Night:
    Makeup Remover: Caudalie Cleansing Water
Same Cleanser and Toner as morning
Night Cream: Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream
    Eyes: Dermalogica Eye Repair
I love waking up in the morning and having smooth healthy looking skin. I’ve never had a morning where I wake up and think “what a monster”. It’s a good feeling to wake up and look refreshed rather than washed out!

    Once a Week:
    Hair: Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment
    Face: Dermologica Multi-Vitamin Recovery Mask
Body: A Homeade Body Scrub that I mix for myself (email me if you want the recipe. It’s to keep my skin glowing, even, and moisturized) after a long soak in the tub with some bath fizzies.
    Feet: Miss Pedicure Foot Scrub
    Hands: 60 Hand Rescue
My whole regime usually takes me an hour to do everything. It’s really nice to take some time to myself and have a little beauty treatment time. I do it on Sundays when I get home work.

I also eat healthy, even if I work out once in a blue moon. I also have a fiance who keeps me smiling and happy, as well as a glass of wine or whiskey everyday. Good luck with everything! I hope that you end up finding some really good ideas that make you feel like a star!

I think the best beauty tip has to be less makeup, and healthier foods. It’s pretty much what everyone tells you except I’m telling you in a different order. I’d have to say, wearing too much makeup looks unhealthy and is… especially if it’s a brand that comes from a drugstore. McDonalds, Burger King, Jack In the Box, ect, ect. Those foods cause of lot of acne and makes you gain tons of weight. Even though, it’s good and it’s cheap, and it’s easy to buy.. it’s still not something you would want to eat frequently. Drinking water helps hydrate your body and cleanse it.

Also: Face masks help keep your face from being too oily. It’s easy to put on and pull off; i would suggest using it once every two or three weeks. And Carmex is GREAT for your purse, office/job, school..
it’s something you wouldn’t regret getting, because it medicates your lips and doesn’t have an awful taste. I would get the wide tube kind only if you have short nails; because dipping your hand in it with long fingernails is awful!

    always moisturize before applying make-up
use a primer if you don’t want your eye shadows fading or creasing
apply frosty white eye shadows on your tear ducts and white eyeliner on waterline to make your eyes look more awake
non clumpy mascara is natural looking
for a glowing complexion, use a lumineer or sheer light powder and apply it on your t-zone, tip of chin and cheekbones only ( or wherever the sun hits your face )
for more defined face suck in your cheeks and apply it where you see your jawline
natural looking eyebrows get a shade that three time lighter than your hair

eat a lot berries and fruits and veggies
they are packed with vitamins and good antioxidants

and oh ! ALWAYS wear Spf
