How do I save a video from iMovie as a music video in iTunes?
posted in Entertainment |Question by Sheel: How do I save a video from iMovie as a music video in iTunes?
I have videos on iMovie that I want to save as music videos in iTunes but they keep saving as regular movies.
How do I save them as music videos?
When I do the Share > iTunes thing, it automatically saves the file as a movie rather than a music video. The only option it gives me is what size to save the video as.

Share > iTunes…
A music video is a regular movie. You are going to have to tell what type of file you have (“type” is the part in the file name after the dot). While you are at it, tell what version of iMovie it is…. and just for grins, tell the OS version.
Last, but not least, tell why you decided to ask this question. In other words, is this file in iTunes? If not, did you try to add it to iTunes? If you did try, what was the result…. that is, what did you see on the screen that told you it was failing to add to iTunes?
EDIT:
“…a movie rather than a music video”
A movie IS IS IS a music video. It really, really is. There is nothing technically different about a movie that has music and one that does not.
