Question by avoirpleindefric: Why does Lady Gaga only support homosexual men but not lesbians?
It is great that Lady Gaga cares for gay rights but I don’t think she should be a spokesperson. I think she is doing a really bad job. She is never mentioning lesbians, only homosexual men. The last time I checked the LGBT community consisted of the L, B, and T too. She also makes it seem like all gays are Perez Hilton.

She does but not as much. Everytime shes on Ellen shes very sweet.

Maybe you think that ’cause gay men were a huge part of her success at the start of her career and people say her songs are sort of ‘gay anthems’ (like, Boys Boys Boys, lol).

I don’t know how you got that impression. Lady Gaga does support lesbians in theory and in practice. However, gay men are a larger and more lucrative market than lesbians, so she gives more emphasis to them. You can get richer and more famous as a gay icon than as a lesbian one.
