Anyone else think fan fiction is creepy?

Im an adult now so maybe that makes a difference. When I was a preteen Id daydream and stuff but it just seems so creepy to me to put a real person that you dont know in a fictional story. I can just imagine if I was a celebrity reading about a fake me doing this and that and Id be like Id NEVER do that in real life Id be creeped out.

Just how others feel because I know fan fiction in general is as popular as ever.

However it seems that most fan fictions about bands and living people tend to be perverted. Personally if I were a celebrity I would dislike fan fiction. Especially if I was male since male characters usually become gay for fellow band members in fan fiction :S.

Fan fiction about fictional characters is fine but fan fiction about real people crosses a creepiness line.
