Question by Sweet Pinki: Except for parental control is there any way to prevent kids from using emailing facility?
and other forums like Y!A ? I know Yahoo does not allow anyone who is below 13 to use their services, but one can easily put in false birth date. I know of young girls of the age of 9 and 11 who would go to chat rooms on internet. I have one friend who asked some very primitive questions about birds and bees on Y!A , she is just 11. How we can prevent these youngsters from getting into inappropriate interactions ?

To prevent the cows from eating grass, there is only one way. Clean the ground and cut away all the grass. If possible, cover the lands with concrete cement coating. OR tie up the cow at its cattle-home without giving grass.
For preventing youngsters from anything is under the parental responsibility as per the Law.
The question is (1) parental control – (2) prevent kids – I can control my kid, but not yours. I can tie up my kid in my home, for not going to my neighbours houses. I can detach or disconnect or close the room where computer is installed and individually many things can be possible. But, if my kid goes to the neighbours house, my good neighbour would never deny him to switch on the computer.
So, I many a time, not understand how the question was formed
    – Yes, I can refrain from answering. That is the best answer for baseless questions.
