Question by Bien: What are your tested home remedies for zits/pimples?
Hello there! I am a contributor for a teen site. I will be writing an article about home remedies for zits/pimples. I know I can research about it and I have already researched. I just want to hear more from real people since articles can be sometimes flawed and bias.

As a teenager, how did you deal with your breakouts? What home remedies did you use? How did you use them and were they effective?

i used whitening toothpaste for my pimples and i dont think neurtrogena or proactive or clean ans clear work at all if it helps

either tooth paste or ground up aspirin pills and a little water on the area . if i have time a plain yogurt mask calms my face down.

Honey and lemon mask was probably the best for me. Honey kills the bacteria and helps moisturize the skin and lemon drys up pimples and allows the skin to shed itself. Then I follow that with a bit of cucumber to help calm the redness. Also, using lemon juiceon it’s on is good for acne and post acne marks. Another good home remedy is using potatoe juice. Potatoe juice contains sulfur which is great for breakouts. Using an egg white mask is perfect for acne as well. It tighens pores and helps brighten the skn.
