A Walk To Remember is the best teen romance movie ever I read the book first and was very pleased with the movie. It is one of my favorite movies. Be sure to have tissue handy!

My favorite romance movie has always been “Love Story.” It’s from the 70s, so it might be a little difficult to find at a video rental store. At any rate, it’s the original rich-guy-meets-girl-from-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks film (basically, it gave Molly Ringwald a career). It’s got some corny dialogue now and then, but it’s definitely worth watching.

Another good one is “Camille,” starring Greta Garbo and Robert Taylor. It’s black and white, from 1936, but usually easier to find than “Love Story.” It’s pretty much “Moulin Rouge,” but with less humor, no music, and (IMHO), a better story.

If you’re looking for something to interest your boyfriend as well, there’s “Leon: The Professional.” It’s about a hit man (Jean Renou) who begins to train a young girl who wants revenge on the men who killed her family. It’s gory, and there’s a lot of explosions and the like, but the romance story is pretty good. Plus, it has Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman.

Some newer ones (meaning 1990s to current) I really enjoy are “Star Dust,” “Sense & Sensibility” with Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, and Alan Rickman, “Pride & Prejudice” with Kira Knightly, and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” starring Jim Carey and Kate Winslet.

    I hope this helps!
