how do i make a really small simple cake for easter with no extra designes?

since easters coming up i want to make a small cake but i just dont want anything special like an easter bunny or that stuff.

Just buy a box. Use a 13×9 inch cake pan. This wont make too much and you can just frost it with a store bought frosting.

An easter egg springs to mind either cut the cake itself in an oval shape and use different colors of frosting to do simple stripes or polka dots or something orif youre worried about cutting the cake wonky you can frost it normally and then draw the egg pattern with those easyfrost bags or cans from the grocery store just make the egg as big on the cake as possible so it is sure to be your focal point. To draw the pattern well on the cake to be cut or base frosting you could print out an enlarged picture of an egg the right size and cut it out so the egg shape is a hole in the paper then use the tip of a knife to trace the shape into the surface of the cake or base frosting just be careful not to to let the paper actually touch the surface if you choose the second option
