Question by Good GIrL: Will stopping birth control bring back acne worse than before?
I just started Orthotricyclen. I’ve have mild acne before that was difficult to combat and I am now 21 years old. My face is clearing up, but I’m scared once I go off, wheter it’s 6 months from now or 6 years, my skin will flare up with acne? Does birth control cause acne to come back with a vengance?

It wouldn’t come back any worse than it was before, but it will probably come back. Some people have acne well into their late twenties and beyond, some only have it in their teens. You’ll have to try it out.
