How do I Start my Music Career?

Question by Chris M: How do I Start my Music Career?
I was wondering how to start my music career. I am a freshmen in high school and I am wondering how to start my music career like teen stars, the Jonas Brothers. Any ideas?

1st. You must know how to sing
2nd. Play an instrument
3rd. Do not be shy if there are any contests
4th. Post a video yourself singing & playing an instrument at youtube
5th. must know how to dance
6th. Find some auditions for a TV Show or something like that.
