Question by Vanessa: How to cure acne on the forehead of a teen?
I’m 14 with acne on my forehead it been growing for a bit and i know its the puberty thing but I want to make it look better because in some parts there’re pimples in others spots its just really red. I’ve been cleaning my face morning and night with acne wash with a face brush and I heard the best type of acne wash is the one without alcohol. Any ideas please help because i want them to go away :(

ACNE’s a hard one to get rid of without being totally dedicated… green tea and other herbal teas are really good for the skin, i dont have acne but i have other skin conditions and im trying it out to see if it helps… if i can stand to bear the taste of it first.

Sadly there’s no cure for acne yet. Just keep washing with a cleanser (X-Out or Proactiv are good ones) and try not to touch your face. Also, don’t pop any of them unless they’re white. Hope I helped!

Well simple clear and perfect worked for me
Or if you wear makeup go to marks and spencer and there is this makeup remover thing and get cotton wool put the cream onthe wool and take the makeup off with that the cream also helps to get rid of spots but don’t use water after the cream
Try not to wash your face with water xxxx

    From Consumer Reports:
“To treat acne on your own, start with a benzoyl peroxide-based treatment, and buy by price. Nearly all of our test participants were satisfied enough with the topical product they tried to say they would buy it.

Remember, acne outbreaks are cyclical in nature, so yours might get worse before it gets better. Also keep in mind that benzoyl peroxide can irritate skin. If that happens, you might want to see a dermatologist.”

If you want to try something cheap, try an acne scrub/morning facial wash. Clean and Clear has a lot of good products for that; it really helps to get the dirt out of your skin. If you can afford something a little more pricey, talk to a skin doctor about epiduo. This medicine has worked wonders for my skin. They usually give you a few free samples so you can try it out and see how it goes. A few random ways to stop acne however, if you’re a girl, wash your makeup off at night. It cleans your skin and clean skin is spotless skin. Also, don’t touch your face as much. Oil and dirt transfer from your hands to your face and that causes you to break out even more. So as much as you want to, don’t pick at your skin. It’s=ll take longer for the acne to go away. Good luck!

Not all products work on people for their pimples… I have tried NATIO acne brand and all their products and it didn’t really work… Proactive did work but it is expensive to keep buying it every month or so…. But what I use at the moment is the brand called WITCH and I just use the blemish gel before I go to bed and it works great! :) but you should probay go to your pharmacy with parent/guardian to check out all the acne products because there are HEAPS! Haha I’m sure you will find something their that’ll work :). But if you don’t have the money you can also search on google ‘how to get rid of pimples’ or something and it will come up with different sites and techniques such as the salt water technique and many more :) I hope this helps and don’t worry too much hahaha oh and if you go on the pill also you will get rarely any pimples :) okay hahah cyaa :) xo

First, Could it be your hair? If you have bangs laying on your forehead all the time, that could be the cause of this. If your hair gets oily and it’s laying on your forehead, that could explain why most of your acne is centered there. If that might be the problem, wash your hair regularly. And Try a dry shampoo as well. Maybe a travel size in your purse if your hair gets greasy super quick.

Also….. Here’s some tips I previously posted to a question similar to this:
-Drink lots of water. It will help not only your skin, but your body.
-Avoid junk food. Yep, that junk food could be causing this! Try eating healthier with some fruits and veggies as snacks in place of those chips.
-Get lots of sleep. Seems basic, but getting sleep will reduce your stress, making you break out less.
-Wash your pillow case regularly. The gunk and oil off your skin is going to accumulate there, and get right back on your skin every time you sleep on that pillow.
-Jawline zits? Clean your cellphone! When you stick it up to your ear to talk on it, oil and bacteria is getting on your face!
-Try to keep it oil-free. If you don’t want to go out and buy oil blotting sheets, try using tissue paper. Blot your face regularly throughout the day to remove excess oil and keep your face shine-free.
-Invest in a good face wash. Clearasil Ultra Acne and Mark Wash and Mask is the perfect product if you need something speedy and cheap.
-Try not to touch your face. You’ll be putting bacteria on your face every time.
-Remove your makeup every night. If you don’t you’ll be clogging your pores, causing wrinkles, and basically mass destruction. Remove it!
-Lastly, Don’t stress. Even about the acne! Stress might be the reason your dealing with the acne now. Why cause more? Just chill out.

Good luck on your struggle with acne. I hope these tips can provide you some relief. :)
