   What you are referring to is the original score, part of the original soundtrack (or OST). It is nice to have a certain interest for this, as a lot of times the score is better than the songs in musical films (for example the Lion King). The problem with most soundtracks is, especially if it isn’t from a very high production film, that it can consist of songs dedicated to it by pop artists and other outsiders or in case of a musical just the original songs written especially for it, because those are what make it a musical after all.

   Sometimes, when it is in big demand, the original score will be released commercially as well, but even with something high production like the Lion King this can take a while (I managed to get the complete score tho). Nowadays most big serious movies will release a score, although with something like Ice Princess, the target demographic (so the audience, meaning in this case I guess teen girls) doesn’t overly appreciate things like original score and so the score is not released commercially. In other words you can blame your peers for their apathy towards this 😉

   You can try searching torrent sides and google/yahoo in general if you can find similar demands for this, if you can’t find the original score on for example amazon.com (which means that the original score was not released commercially). You can also try the website of the composer of the original score (Christophe Beck) or perhaps youtube and search for Ice Princess original score.

   Now if you are really serious about this (which I doubt) you can try and get in contact with Christophe and get (parts of) the score from him somehow, but even I don’t know how to do a thing like that, especially since he won’t trust many industry outsiders due to all the illegal filesharing going on. Maybe if you have a relative high up in the movie industry he or she can request a sample from his work on Ice Princess for “professional” purposes.

   The best thing would probably be what above poster mentioned, which is to try and convert the ending credits of the movie into a mp3 or wav type of file format. There are some (free) software programs out there, but you need to be handy with computers to get this going. Xilisoft Video Converter is relatively easy to use, but you have to pay for it. SUPER is free to use, and still pretty easy. VirtualDub is free, but relatively hard.
