Question by Dude: Teens, how do I learn how to whistle? How do you make those really loud ones you see at a concert?
You know, when you put a finger from each hand in your mouth and make a really loud whistle? Before I try that, however, how do I get the basics of whistling down? Puckering my lips? Also, have you seen people clasp their hands together and make bird sounds? Do you know what I’m talking about? Thanks for any advice :)

Lick your lips so that they are wet, pucker them, and blow. That’s the best advice I can give you for learning how to whistle.
I’m not exactly sure how to do the really loud ones that get every body’s attention and are always at concerts. You can probably search it on Google though. Everything is on Google.

What do you think? Answer below!

To do that really loud whistle, I use both my index and middle fingers from both hands. Open your mouth and put your tongue up and the tips of your fingers on the top of the bottom of your tongue and just blow. For regular whistling (and I’ve never met anyone who whistles like I do, my friend from England taught me in 3rd grade) I put my tongue on the roof of my mouth, like middle front, and blow. I have absolutely no idea how to do the bird sounds. Good luck :)

    Okay, do this:
Put your index finger and thumb together to form a point. Then put them inside your mouth & use them to push the tip of your tongue back. So your tongue is sort of rolled. At first all you’ll hear is this noise that doesn’t even sound like a whistle. Do this for the entire day, getting all the practise. By the next day you should be doing it.
