Question by elcamino73: What are some good makeup foundations for teens?
I was using a clinque acne solutions foundation, but i started an acne medication prescribed by my dermatologist, so now it irritates my skin. Plus it doesnt have spf and sometimes appears cakey.
Other info:
-oily/combo skin
-very fair
-sensitive skin

Suggestions? Thanks.
i also would like good coverage to hide acne scars.
thanks for all of the answers. i’ll have to try a few.

u should try maybelline’s dream matte mousse foundation. but it will look dry if u have dry patches unless you apply a moisturizer first.

that foundation really covers up your acne and undereyes amazingly. it’s lightweight, too.

if u need a new moisturizer u can try neutrogena’s moisturizer for combination skin. it’ll help it look not so oily and make it moisturized if it’s dry.

    try the covergirl clean foundation.
it doesnt clog pores, so you wont get as many pimples,
& you an also get it for sensitive skin.
    hope this helps.

Well i’ve heard great things about the neutrogena healthy skin foundation. It’s the one that Jennifer Garner advertises. It’s supposed to give you a great glow and help out with acne but I have never tried it but it will be my next purchase. Revlon colorstay is also very good and that one i have tried. Pick out the combination skin formula and you’ll be good. It has a great deal of colors to choose from so finding the wrong color won’t be an issue. If you just want something lighter on days where you don’t want full coverage mix it in with oil-free moisturizer and it looks very natural and glowy but not greasy.

I just purchased Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin and I think I’m in lovee! It goes on so smoothly and makes your face look flawless. It provides SPF 6 and has awesome shine control. Lasts for 16 hours at least and is liquid so not only does it let your pores breathe, but also doesn’t show up cakey!

Hmm, well first I wouldnt suggest a foundation. I say you should use a tinted moisturizer. All you need is a moisturizer that doesnt clog pores (I use Dove Deeep Moisture) and your liquid foundation ( i use OrganicWear). Make sure that at least 1 of the products has an SPF of 15. All you do is mix them 1/2 an 1/2 (:

Then to set it you just use a Translucent Setting Powder, or just a regular Loose Powder Foundaion ( I use L’oreal Bare Naturale) (:

    Hope I helped!!!

covergirl clean. revlon color stay. neutrogena acne kind? (sorry idk what its called) those are pretty good, for drug store foundations. but since you have oily/combo skin i would do this…….

1- wash your face and use a moisturizer with spf, or just put some on after you moisturize
2- use a concealer on blemishes, but apply with a make up brush
3- use foundation (make sure its even and not to cakey)
4-use just a loose powder (to not make your skin shiny)
