my thoughts exactly about the American version…..its not going to have the balls to stray from its strict stereotypical guidelines especially with someone like Josh Schwartz —producer of The OC, Gossip Girl and Chuck <—— that says everything and proves ur point esp of the blond thing. I think this type of diversity was part of the magic of Misfits and if the US screws it up its downhill before they even started.
I wish there was a “love” button for your comment. So sad but oh so true about an American version of “Misfits”. We in America just love our racial and ethnic stereotypes and cling to them religiously. Thank God for British TV, it has really been a godsend in terms of preserving my sanity.
My god, will you morons shut the fuck up? The characters don’t make the show, especially when their arcs ended. They were basically done, and the new characters are great. Stop sucking up, you cunt.
They did. Honestly, I feel like they need to get some new ideas for the new series. People won’t appreciate the writers trying to make the new characters like the old. They do have big shoes to fill and hopefully over time people will except the new characters, but i am struggling too at the moment.
“The new characters will never match up to the old.” I absolutely agree. I haven’t watched the new season but Simon, Alisha and the rest of the gang set the bar so high. I feel bad for the new actors in a way, they have very big shoes to fill.
I agree. I feel like there trying to make the new characters like the old aswell which is completely stupid. The new characters will never match up to the old. The only one I like is Rudy and thats only because he’s hilarious. The writers need to sort things out for the next season, otherwise i think they will loose a lot of viewers. They need to go back to the originality of the series. With the powers and humour. Here’s hoping !
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii know! Seriously, what the fuck.. I am beyond obsessed with Simon & it was bad enough to see Nathan go. Now it’s Nathan, Simon, Kelly AND Alisha.. I’m not even sure if it’s even worth watching anymore, which is seriously a huge load of wank because I was SO obsessed & thoroughly enjoyed that show. Fuck.
