   Touch has all the same music and video capabilities, you just can’t make calls with it. The touch would probably be a better gift, because if you give someone an iPhone, then they have to shell out at least $ 60 a month for the service.

   I’d say get the iphone ipod touch is the same thing, a little thinner, but minus the phone , camera, and the speakerphone. Really its your choice, whether you want a phone + ipod or just an Ipod. Although I have heard Ipod touch is a lil glithcy. Nonetheless, theyre quality products. I use an iphone and am absolutely happy with it.
