Q&A: What are some good chat websites for teens?

Question by beth: What are some good chat websites for teens?
I’m looking for an appropriate website for my 13 year old daughter to chat with her best friend on she was using Habbo Hotel before but some issues were aroused with that website. The website needs to be safe but fun, any suggestions?

To be honest, chat rooms aren’t safe. But Facebook, a social networking site, is perfectly safe, and many of my friends have it. You can set saftey and privacy settings, and make sure you know who can contact you.

Just make sure you give your daughter some e-saftey advice 😀

For younger people I would highly recommend over facebook
