   She should take a day to watch sad movies and cry and eat. And THEN stay busy. Day 2: Go shopping, do your hair and makeup, get pretty, do something fun (go see a fun movie, Christmas shopping.)

   Fortunately Christmas is full of stay-busy opportunities, but she DOES need to take a day to mourn the loss of the relationship.

   Best thing to do after a break is to cry, mourn the relationship and eat comfort food. Then maybe get angry do and say some stupid things to get the anger out. Then keep yourself busy doing things and go out and do fun stuff, next is probably to change your appearance, girls usually try and do that after a break up.. e.g i wanted to dye my hair red but luckily i got over my ex and didn’t need to go to that extreme.

   Yes. For me, if I didn’t keep busy after a breakup I’d probably just lay in bed and cry. But what I usually did is go shopping, get some new outfits and some new makeup.
