She chatted about her awesome summer, working on her new place and her new album. The next album, Speak Now, is set to hit the public on October 25th. Taylor said that the name is the entire album theme, so she needed a few years to live life, go through situations and then write all about it… adding that she was the solo writer and each song is a confession to a different person. Swift revealed that the first single from Speak Now is called Mine – with an August 16th release date – and explains her tendency to run away from love. In fact, she even shot the official music video in Maine, saying it was the most beautiful place she’s visited and she might even want to live there when she’s really old… Of course, Taylor talks a bunch more about her music, her writing process, an upcoming tour – that’ll be after Speak Now debuts… She’s apparently been so zeroed in on her music that she will not be doing acting anytime soon. Plus, Swift’s fave summer fashions include sun dresses, headbands, flats, plus she really enjoys hitting up antique stores, drinking Starbucks and again, she told another story about why 13 is her favorite number.
