what are some cute/romantic way to ask my girlfriend to prom?

i want to ask her around valentines day but im short of ideas. yes i know shes my girlfriend i shouldnt have to do anything but i still want to ask her in a nice/cute/romantic way just because im that type of guy.

i want to do something that she will remember for a very long time.

weve been dating 3 months and it will be over 4 come valentines day.

i was thinking using chalk to write it in her driveway before school so she sees it and maybe leave her flowers so that when she leaves for school shed see them. but her parents are strict and might not like the idea of chalk. yes i know its annoying. but i could ask them
