   It could be other reasons. When I was in college I hung out with some girls. One guy asked me on a date. He wanted to sleep with me. He was stunned to find out I was a virgin. I said no, that I was not going to sleep with him. He told me that the only reason he asked me out was because he had slept with my friend and thought I wouldn’t hang out with her, if I were a virgin. I had no idea my friend had sex with anyone, so it was news to me. It could be the group you hang out with. There are so many other reasons that people might lump you into a category. Some people think that girls dress up to hook up. Most never realize that girls dress up to please themselves. Most women dress to please themselves and feel good about themselves. You understand that about yourself. We also dress to fit in. I was brought up to dress well and look nice. Somehow men took that as I wanted to hook up. I was raised strict Catholic, but being of Italian ancestry, well, Italian women like to look good. (Jersey Shore doesn’t count. lol.) It doesn’t mean we do drugs and sleep around. We do it to because it’s our custom. Our families would feel ashamed if we did not look our best. So others may not get why you dress up. You have to be you and do what is right for you and not worry about other people.
