   They do walk up to the camera but they have movie editing software and they edit it out and then piece it all together

   Well, I’ve made one, and you still have to walk up to the camera to turn it off, but you shorten the clip and make it look like you didn’t walk up to the camera.

   Sorry if that’s kind of confusing.
