How can I find free teen acting auditions?

Question by Cristian P: How can I find free teen acting auditions?
I live in Illinois and my biggest dream is to become a teen actor. I am hoping that someone can help me. Thank you!

there just aren’t many. and most of those go to experience professionals. You aren’t going to become a teen actor unless your parents make it happen. That is the only way it happens. You cannot do it by yourself because of labor laws.

all legit acting auditions are free. you just need to be where they are. not sure that’s illinois. you
would at least need to be in chicago. look around you for community theaters and student films,
their open calls. look in the classifieds or theater section of your paper for ind. film opportunities.
you will need a parent to do this with you. for most anything of a professional commercial
nature you will need a parent to get an agent for you.
