Local gay teen chat rooms?

Question by spike2959: Local gay teen chat rooms?
Is there any local gay teen chat rooms? i want to get to know someone personally but im done with this long distance thing i want to find someone who lives close to me.

there used to be myspace but they shut it down (at least myspace chat) but you can google it

Does your school have a Gay Straight Alliance or similar organization? Are their any in your community?

Also, make friends with the out gay and bi students in your school. Having someone understanding to talk to is a great help. It also pays to have a network of gay, bi and straight friends who know what you’re looking for so that they can keep their eyes out for you.

A lot of churches have gay-friendly groups for teens, especially the Metropolitan Community Church, the Unitarians, Episcopalians, and the Church of Christ. Here is a site where you can find a gay-friendly church in your area:

Most of these churches are inclusive churches, so you don’t even have to be a Christian to go to the groups. Visitors are always welcome, and none of these churches ever put pressure on you to join. I’m an agnostic, and I often go to the Thursday social of the gay teen group at the local Unitarian church. The guys there are really cool, and I’ve gone out with two of them.
