What’s Wrong With This Picture?

This picture is just Wrong on so many levels!

The ‘Somebody else will sort it out’ attitude really bugs me, the presumption of people like those who dumped this TV in an area of Natural Outstanding Beauty that somebody else would take care of it goes a long way to explain the state of this country at the moment – thoughtless & lazy! (guess I shouldn’t tar everyone with the same brush – it’s really just a small minority)

It does lead to some interesting pictures however – would be good to hear what you guys think?

The Song of the Mermaid

The wind. Breeze which went through my hair. His caresses were delicate and the sensation that my body quivered to each passage of wind was of fragrance and of transparency. My breath increased and my arms relaxed. Tracks. My barefoot on the sand. A heat climbs from the tips of the feet across my backbone to end in a vibration.
The sea. Endless waters which enclose the life. The waves echoed me in the ears like a song that I knew years ago, now forgotten.
My naked body was able to walk like a ghost following the imaginary line that my mind drew on the sand. I stopped an instant to watch a seagull in nose-dive. A fish had died. Killed! The seagull continued to live.
What I was doing in the middle of the immensity? Sea and sand. Clouds and sky. Seagulls and fishes. Life and death?
My naked body and the beauty of the world?
My naked body which went through the air to conquest his spot; but towards where?
I sat down on the sand with the body turned towards the sea. The horizon was a blade, a sharp blade. The water attracted me, called me. I took a handful of sand and I spread it on my body. The warmth of the sand excited me and delighted me. My hand went through over my breast, over my belly and over my legs.
I laid down on the seashore and unfolded the arms. I kissed the air and I caressed it. The sun was about to set and the sky became more and more red. My heart throbbed and I panted.
It was him. He was waiting. He was thinking about me! Maybe.
I turned around to contemplate the particles of sand: millions, billions. Could I be able to count them? Maybe.
The wind was icy, sour and phantasmagoric. His strength dragged the particles of sand with itself. I don’t succeed anymore to count them!
The night. The night was heavy and obscure. The darkness carried me with it to hidden places. My body was covered with it. Never-ending shroud!
Love. Hearts which beat, bodies which melt, thoughts which embrace.
I lifted my arm and looked at the sand that slipped through the fingers: love! I brought my fingers near to the mouth, the taste of love has disappeared. I had touched him, caressed and kissed; then the least sign of it didn’t exist anymore. Did I have touched him, caressed, kissed?
Tide. Salvation in a childish game. Destruction of an useless body.
‘The most beautiful woman who has ever existed on earth!’, he said.
I was a very beautiful woman. Very beautiful? And then?
Tide. Sand. Salvation. And the mind? The feelings? Could the tide love them as it would love my body? Will they vanish? No, they will be part of the particles of sand at the bottom of the ocean. They will talk to the sharks and to the jellyfishes.
Obscurity. Love. Tide and sand.
