Why do some people tell me not to answer questions in the pregnancy section?

they say that even though yes i am pregnant the fact of me being a pregnant teen does not give me any right to answer questions in the pregnancy section…….i know alot of the answers and if i doont know i ask some one i know that would know so i can give the best advice possible……so why do people keep telling me not to…..doesnt being pregnant give me as much of a right as any one else to answer.. ..and if it helps i am 31 weeks so i know whwat some of these women are going through….so what do you think?

I think you should answer any question that you feel you are able to answer honestly..and you genuinely know the answer. Age does not make you any less knowledgeable…and maybe you know more than someone else about a certain topic…

BTW..I am 31 weeks too

Im not saying that its right but people look down on certain people because of their situation or feel that they are not on their level. But I would say if its about something that you have been through or going through regardless of your age then you are credible to answer.

I dont know who is telling you not to but I think you may even have MORE of a right to answer questions that more concerned mothers need answers on. There are a lot of scared teen pregnant mothers that need help on here and as much as I 31 years old and married mother of 1 can help they would more likely want to hear some encouragement from you. Dont listen to these people some people are just ignorant. Im 29 weeks pregnant and yes you know enough to help others even as a first timer. Here is the start of throwing modesty out the window for you forget them Dont let it affect you. Be strong as I can tell you already are since you are going through with the pregnancy and are a teen. Good for you Keep it up and ignore the others

Who cares if you are a teen mother? You can answer whatever you want. Just because you are young doesnt mean that you havent went through some of the same stuff they have. Im going to be a young mother im only 19 but im pregnant and still go through everything that everyone else does thats older. So dont let it bother you they just think that because you are young you dont know what you are talking about and they dont want your advice.

if you are or have been pregnant you have more knowledge of pregnancy than the people who have never been pregnant and especially the guys who answer questions in the pregnancy section. it doesnt matter how old you are youve experienced firsthand the answers to the questions on here.
