Question by : How many words should be in a teen fiction book?
I am writing a teen fiction book and I would like to know what the sort of limit or such is on the word count. I heard that the word count matters more than the chapter length. So please help me. :) Thank you!

I’ve actually written a teen fiction book myself! (check out the link below). However, I’ve never heard that word could is more important that pages. Personally, I draw the limit at one page to twenty pages.

YA novels generally run 40,000-75,000 words, but you’ll find books on either side of that. Write the story in the length it takes to tell it, and then check publishers’ guidelines.
