Ideas for a Teenage Disney Party…?

posted in Teens |

My friends and I are having a Disney Movie Marathon with the classics Beauty the Beast Little Mermaid Peter Pan Sleeping Beauty etc.. I need ideas for other things to do at the party like games and stuff. We are 1516 year olds so were not going to be into little kids games. And no you can never be too old for Disney Movies.

You could play : Disney Scene It Its really fun.
Listen to Disney music make a CD while eating
Or you could play Apples to Apple The Disney version

I think just watching the movies alone will take up a lot of time though. I would love to do this I watch them by myself all of the time haha.

    Have fun :

Yea for costumes for the people who are coming you can throw a mix of stuff like mickey mouse headbands Princess dresses and you get the idea dont you? Oh yeah that would be so unique :

Watch some movies too with popcorn and blue and green streamers sea colors The Little Mermaid to decorate the room.

Make sure to listen to music during your party too.

Food: You absolutely need cake. Yum

    Ingredients
    2/3 cup flour
16 1/2ounce roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
    Template for cookie pattern
    4 tablespoons yellow decorating sugar
    2 16ounce cans white frosting
Candy decorations we used regular and mini MMs and Stardrops hard candies
    2 8inch round cakes
    Instructions
Knead the flour into the cookie dough to firm it up. On a floured surface roll the dough into a 1/4inchthick rectangle. Using the template cut out as many cookies as you can. Keep rerolling the dough scraps and cutting until you have 12 cookies 11 for the cake plus a backup. Transfer the cookies to a foil or parchmentlined baking sheet and sprinkle them generously with yellow sugar. Bake them according to the package directions until theyre golden brown around the edges. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Spoon 1/2 cup of the frosting into a resealable plastic bag. Snip off a corner of the bag and pipe designs onto the cookies. Add candy decorations as shown above. Allow the frosting to set for at least 1 hour before handling the cookies.
Use a long serrated knife to trim the top of one of the cakes flat if needed. Place it on a serving platter spread a thin layer of frosting on the top then lay the other cake on it rounded side up. Generously frost the stack and use a spoon to draw the frosting on top up to a point as shown. Carefully press the cookies around the side of the cake piping lines of frosting between the cookies to secure them. Serves 11…

Super Disney Decorations: Get posters of Famous Disney Characters and hang them. Also take pictures of your friends and put stickers on them and hang them across the wall saying under a sign saying Disney Movie Maniacs. Haha.

Games: There is Disney Monopoly in case you didnt know and Scene it. You could take turns playing them. Apples to Apples: The Disney Version is really fun too.

Sorry if my ideas are cheesy but it was the best I could do. Thanks. Hope this Helps :.
