How do you ask a girl to dance at a disco? (teen advice)?

Question by Ille S: How do you ask a girl to dance at a disco? (teen advice)?
Well I am a 14 year old and I have started going to Discos with mates lately. I enjoyed going to them alot but i’ve never asked a girl there to dance before. I was wondering how you would ask them to dance and what kinda dance you would do.

just ask i hate it when boys DNT ask things like this yous expect the girls to ask but us girls we per-fer to be asked out.what sort of dance depends on the beat just go with the flow.lol

Just go up to her and comment on what she’s wearing or her hair or something and try to strike up a short conversation. then just say “Hey, would you like to dance?” And if she says yes then do a fun dance at first, fast movement and jumping and stuff (I’ve never been to a “disco” so I’m not sure exactly what kind of music they play aside from “disco” music.) But when or if a slow song comes on pput your arms around her waist or abdomen and just sway back and forth

You make some eye contact first and if she looks at you back go for it. Walk up and ask her if she would like to dance, or if you see a girl you like ask her to save a slow dance for you! Good luck

confidence buddy, there are two ways I can see 1) if you walk up to her and put your hand out and see if she grabs it then you can dance, but dont grab her goodies immediately…2) just start dancing near her and try to make eye contact and see if she smiles back. its too loud in a disco to “ask” or “talk” to a girl about dancing, its about nonverbal communication and confidence that if she doesnt want to dance with you then its her problem. also, try to bring your female friends with you and start the night dancing with them, then radiate outward, other chicks like to see you with ladies.
