so theres this guy i like?

mkay he is 2 years older than me we are teens
he is really nice he makes me smile i stare at him during classi make excuses to follow him ect.
but i dont think he likes me?
should i ask him out?
what do i say if he turns me down?
i cant just be friends with this guy
