Man of Steel (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Deluxe Edition] – Hans ZimmerView More By Hans Zimmer Customer ReviewsMy ears will get laid once this album comes out (5 stars)Hans Zimmer to me is becoming the new John Williams, I love his music and with ignition I just picture an epic beginning of a fight or explosion scene, Great Job Mr.Zimmer Not impressed! (2 stars) Maybe I'm biased by the iconic John Williams score that has been the Superman theme since the 1970s (even used in the Smallville finale)...but I am not impressed with this soundtrack. Don't get me wrong, not only am I a Superman fan, but a fan of Hans Zimmer...but the score is just OK. It sounds like his score to Batman Begins just reworked. The genius of John Williams' theme was it had meaning without the movie...this Has Zimmer theme wi Beautiful and inspirational. (5 stars) If you're a fan of HZ, this is going to be right up your alley. Also, the full length song from the preview is on this record. I'm not sure what people are talking about. It's five minutes of eargasm. It's called What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving the World. How anyone could give this a poor review is beyond me, especially the people whining about how the original score isn't in it. Why on earth would it be?
