Certain people, such as patients, soldiers and prisoners, have been able to cast their ballots in the Iraq parliamentary elections today, ahead of the general population which will be able to vote on Thursday. Starting tomorrow, Iraqi borders will be completely closed down, domestic travel will be restricted and a nighttime curfew will be put in place. A pre-election poll shows that whilst the Iraqi majority disapprove of having US forces in their country, they also optimistic about the future and their personal lives. Source: news.yahoo.com
