THIS IS BRILLIANT TALENT (5 stars)
I was first introduced to this golden voice when I saw the movie Trance by Danny Boyle. That movie blew me so away I had to watch it several times. There was a song running through that movie at times… and a voice i could not get out of my head. It is the last song on this album “Here It Comes”… after buying the Trance Soundtrack and wearing out this song, I moved on to buying other music by Emeli to discover what an Amazing gem she

Strong talent (3 stars)
She has a wonderful voice and a big heart...she just needs a little more artistic edge to the music. She needs more uniqueness and identity because she is lost in the mix of thousands of other safe r&b artist. The album is great it just needs to be more artsy like Kanye West, M.I.A, Santigold, The Knife, Bjork, Janelle Monae, etc. It's a great start, hopefully this is constructive criticism. Take some risk, it doesn't have to be complete

This album is great from beginning to end. The lyrics and her voice mesh like air on earth. JUST A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.
