Lorinda Hawkins was breast-feeding her 4-month-old baby back on Feb. 23, when she passed out and allegedly suffocated the child accidentally. She was charged Friday with one count of child neglect causing a death. If convicted, she could be sentenced to 29 years in prison and fined $100,000 because she is a repeat offender who has been in trouble with the law before. She was on probation for neglect of the same child, and was ordered not to drink alcohol. Hawkins had downed six double-shot alcoholic beverages at a bowling alley and her blood alcohol content ranged from .15 to .27 percent. She has three other children and was not supposed to have unsupervised contact with all four kids at once. Source:
