Titans did not just see the team outplayed in all three phases http://www.newenglandpatriotsteamonline ... len-jersey , but also lose some important pieces to injury: starting left tackle Trent Brown left the game because of a back issue, tight end Dwayne Allen hurt his knee, and Julian Edelman exited due to of an ankle injury suffered on an unsuccessful fourth down attempt in the fourth quarter. While there are no updates about Brown and Allen yet, the first report about Edelman is an encouraging one (according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter):On a day when the Patriots struggled to compete on offense, Edelman was one of the few bright spots: the veteran finished the day with a team-high nine receptions for 108 yards as quarterback Tom Brady’s go-to guy — a role he held ever since returning from his four-game suspension to open the game. Because of that, his injury status is one keeping a close eye on moving forward. However, with Schefter’s report in combination with New England’s bye week coming up it appears the team and Edelman dodged a bullet. My dad may be a man of few words, but occasionally he’ll still crank out an all-time knowledge bomb like this:(This line was also dropped on me when I was maybe in second grade, so in hindsight that might explain a lot)That’s today’s relevant dad quote because on Friday, SB Nation ran the following hypothetical that’s normally settled over brews and a giant shared plate of something deep-fried and covered with enough cheese to make sure American cheese never dies despite millennials trying to kill it:Would you rather have Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes leading a game-winning drive in 2018?Like any good “would you rather?”
