http://www.clevelandbrownsteamonline.co ... red-jersey , possibly out for season Cleveland Browns starting cornerback Terrance Mitchell fractured his right forearm during the team's Week 4 matchup against the Oakland Raiders.UPDATE:During his post-game press conference coach Hue Jackson said Terrance Mitchell is believed to have suffered a fractured right forearm, and is possibly out for the rest of the 2018 season.On a second quarter 3rd-down play, Mitchell contested a throw to Jordy Nelson, broke it up, but then had his bent wrist fallen onto by all of Nelson’s body weight. Mitchell immediately ran to the sidelines with what looked like a bone out of place in his wrist area.We won’t post the photo of his mangled wrist, but we know some will want to check out its severity.The free-agent acquisition cornerback was immediately brought into the medical tent before catching a cart back to the locker room. Browns officials declared him questionable to return, but it’d be shocking if Mitchell is back on a football field anytime soon.Replacing him fellow newcomer corner E.J. Gaines intercepted Derek Carr on an errant throw deep into Browns territory to protect their 17-14 lead heading into halftime.E.J. Gaines left with an ankle injury later in the game, and his status is still up in the air.With both Mitchell and Gaines out, T.J. Carrie took over outside cornerback duties, and he was abused by Derek Carr throughout the rest of the game. Carrie’s a liability on the field in every type of coverage, so the Browns are going to need to adjust their scheme or find a replacement, and fast. The Cleveland Browns promoted defensive back Jeremiah McKinnon to the active roster on Tuesday
