I know for a fact that my computer is a 64 bit edition and everytime i click the x64 option on it it later says you can't upgrade a 32 but to a 64 bit and you cant upgrade a 64 bit to 32 bit. Any help will be appreciated.

It's talking about your current Version of Windows - it's 32bit
You have to do a Custom (Full) install for 64bit Windows
Can't use the Upgrade option

Use Easy Transfer to save all your files first
