| Post subject: | Creating a computer with two Operating Systems? |
I have a laptop, running windows Vista Home Edition. I'd like to create to able to choose between running XP and running Vista upon starting my computer. I have already tried programs like "Virtual PC" and it either does not work at all, run unstable, or fail to run the programs for which I need XP in the first place. I have already split my hard drive (C) into 3 parts: the original Hard drive, a hard drive dedicated to XP, and one for windows 98. I need to know how I should do this. How can I install XP? When I insert the XP cd, it tells me that obviously, Vista has already been installed, and XP is "not compatible with my system." So, I need a way to install XP so I can choose which one to boot when starting my PC. Any advice? Poll: Would you want to be immortal, if you could? Do consider that the Earth will eventually come to an end, and that you may not be able to escape on time. Also, keep in mind that losing all your friends and loved ones over and over...and over again, will drive you crazy. Well? |
