Do you sometimes ignore the notices for elementary school friends with whom you haven't spoken in decades? Not that *I* have been out of school for decades, of course.

hmm.. I usually wish birthday to all of my friends, also old friends..

9 and a half times out of 10, everything I post to people on there gets ignored regardless, and it's people I'm talking to on a regular basis outside of that joke of a website. Or, I just strike up conversation with people from high school who *added me* and get no response. So, why waste my and your time finding me on here in the first place?
Needless to say, I have given up on talking to anyone there. At least most people, so my opinion may be biased. But I would not even bother, unless you are really close, then maybe take the time out of your day to do so. Most who I observe rack up birthday wishes by the hundreds tend to simply post a universal "thank you" to everyone as a whole. I honestly can't say I blame them...

I'm not even two decades old..
But I choose by if I talk to that person or not. If I do I post if I don't, I don't post. Or if I'm really happy that day then I post on all of their walls. But if I'm kinda depressed that day I might ignore them all or not even go on facebook at all. Or I just post 'Happy birthday loser'
If the person likes Justin Bieber, I never post - other than my best friend who I don't know how, but she LOVES him.

I wish about 80% of my friends happy birthday. When in doubt, I do it. I figure it's nice to be nice.
