XD that computer will EAT crysis. put the settings on 1960x1080 (HD, that is if your monitor supports it) and all the eye candy on. you should get around an avg of 37-45 fps (frames per sec) (which is smooth...i.e. no lag)

Weak hard drive with only 8 MB cache. If that's the lowest HD option, then go with it and order yourself up something with a 32 MB cache, or a Raptor or an SSD drive for your OS and programs. The hard drive you list will slow down the rest of this build.

there are two things that might stop you. your motherboard and your video card. i've never heard of that video card, if you want something good get the 900 series. 8800 gtx is good or the 9850 is also good. both being from the nvidia

Windows xp can not handle your ram, you need to get vista 64 bit. also only vista supports dirext x 10 while xp only supports direct x 9. So crysis will not let you turn maximum graphics on windows xp.

your motherboard is a big waste of money because it only supports pcie xpress x16. which is half the bandwidth of pci express 2.0 which your card gtx 295 supports. so if u get that motherboard u are wasting your money, u gonna buy a gtx 295 then buy a better motherboard.

other then that i think everything else is just fine, for power supply if you want the best it would be corsair the best quality power supply. a shitty brand 800watt will not power your setup very well.

Nope........................

With the res at 1920x1200, 2x AA, gamer quality and DX10 you'll average about 49 (in crysis warhead which has a more refined game engine ergo better frame rendering)

Those settings dont stratch the surface of Crysis.

At 2560x1600, 16xQSAA, 16xAF, Enthusiast Settings.....Your computer would get eaten alive mate.

Also, marinelove...............you geniunely have no idea what your talking about do you?
