Ministry of Foreign Affairs Accelerate cooperation after the Prime Minister visit saudi arabia Prepare bilateral roadmaps on politics, security, and economy

On February 12, 2022, Mr. Thani Saengrat, Director-Generalslot walletof the Department of Information and Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Revealing the results of the follow-up meeting to the Prime Minister's official visit to Saudi Arabia on February 11, 2022, Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Chaired meetings with government and private sectors to monitor the performance of agencies following the Prime Minister's official visit to Saudi Arabia. and jointly set directions and roadmaps to promote relations and cooperation with Saudi Arabia.


The meeting discussed guidelines in three main areas:
1) Politics and Security 2) Economic and 3) Social and Cultural This will lead to the preparation of a roadmap for bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Saudi Arabia. for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries


In terms of politics and security, the meeting will push forward cooperation in intelligence, military, counter-terrorism. and anti-extremism On the economic side, the meeting will promote cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, tourism and services, labor and will invite Saudi business groups to invest in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), etc. The meeting will promote cultural cooperation. mutual education

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will compile the comments to lead the establishment of mechanisms to drive and develop roadmaps to promote cooperation and relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia. to proceed with a clear guideline according to the vision of the leaders of both countries
