It is impossible to import a large Canon XF100 camera or Panasonic P2 mxf files to be edited in Adobe Premiere for there some error messages like “ ERROR COMPLING MOVIE:UNKNOW”. Really troublesome and boring!
How to solve this problem to import mxf into Premiere? Are there any reliable solutions to do so? Found some info online and there is a method on a Video Converter which could transcode mxf to Premiere compatible h.264 mov. With this information I did many tests on this mxf to h.264 mov conversion, so happy with the result. High quality and Premiere perfectly loaded them.
Then, I would share some information of my test here. First of all, download the tools I need to do this trans-coding work from mxf to h264 mov.
Step 1: Load your source mxf files to this mxf to h.264 mov video converter.
Step 2: Go to the “Format” option to choose “Adobe Premiere”>> “MOV (AVC) (*.mov)
Step 3: Click the Convert button to start converting mxf to avc mov.
